The Four Year "White Bigfoot" Project, 50 VHS Tapes Later

Artist depiction of a White Sasquatch with a dark face
"Its definitely not a cow or an ungulate, I'm pretty sure of it because I got better pictures of it..." -- MK davis

We just got off the phone with the MK Davis regarding his White Bigfoot Video. We wanted to learn little bit more about the how the tapes came to him and nature of the recordings themselves.

We learned the tapings were part of a four-year project producing over 50 six-hour VHS tapes (that's 300 hours). MK has had them for about six months and has digitally transferred the VHS tapes himself.

These videos are taped on a land that was initially purchased because the current owner was looking for Indian artifacts, like arrow heads and what have you. Eventually he kept coming across large prints and tracks and wanted to know what could be making them.

With the help of some tech-savvy people they set up cameras. These cameras were set up to continually film, no infrared triggers, no motion detectors, just continuous taping. More interesting is what you see is not the direct view of the camera, each lens was pointing to an angled mirror. This was to overcome the theory that Sasquatch are quite aware of cameras and purposely try to stay out of the line of sight.

When we brought up our arguments about a possible cow or ungulate, MK Davis was adamant in denying the possiblility.

"Its definitely not a cow or an ungulate, I'm pretty sure of it because I got better pictures of it next to the creek"

We asked about the dark pixelations that seemed to lead the alleged Sasquatch and he had agreed that he had seen that too and says his better picture also show the Sasquatch has a dark face.

He continued to describe other oddities,"When it walks upright it almost looks like it is sitting in a chair, there's nothing underneath it--you could put a chair underneath it, but it just moves around with its knees bent almost at a 90 degree angle. Also, in the video it never runs, [one foot is always in contact with the ground] its actually walking that fast!"

The video below was uploaded to show a bipedal figure from the same footage. MK Davis is certain he can rule out a cow, sheep or any other type of ungulate.

MK also noted the part that intrigued him most about theWhite Bigfoot video. "The thing that got me was when it was on all fours the way the hind leg kicked up, I had seen that before. When I was in Louisiana I saw, point blank, something run right in front of my vehicle on all fours. It did the same exact thing, the hind legs almost reach all the way up to the head and then extend."

Over the phone MK shared some interesting audio that we hope he will share soon. The audio samples were similar to other familiar alleged Sasquatch sound sounds, the Samurai Chatter, a groan that will make your ears bleed (at the very least make your skin crawl), and some possible conversation between two individuals.

MK has uploaded another video (see below) that  he uses to do a size comparison. In our mind it is not as compelling as the audio we heard.

By the way light-colored or blond Bigfoot are not unheard of you can read our post, "Rise of the Blonde Bigfoot" to read about them more.

  1. I just took 5 looks at this video and I have one problem with it were the heck does the tractor come from? I see in the fore ground an evergreen tree most likely a cider or something like it and I am looking to the very corner of the video and I don’t see any movement of that tractor. To me it just appears out of no were. Now I know that the picture quality really sucks but in my mind I should be able to see some kind of movement though those trees. Does anyone else have any other thoughts?

    1. are you honestly as dumb as you make yourself sound, the tractor just appears out of knowhere well if you understood english then you would know what he is explaining in his video...idiot

    2. I went back to have a look at that tractor part again and all he said about was where it was coming out of the woods and the size of the tractor. If it did come out of the woods I should have seen some movement some were. Any way I am a believer I just hate hoaxers.

  5. This is from a very long (and very boring) series of fake videos from Texas by a guy named Mike Sells. Among the rest of the footage are various clips of Sells and co. wearing a blonde "witch" wig and trying to look "squatchy" running around in the dark. You may remember Sells from Biscardi's DVD "Bigfoot Lives". Sells was the guy who was supposedly knocked over by a bigfoot while trying to film one. That's in the collection of videos as well.

    3. That is why these videos have never been released before. Biscardi was there for a week out of the four year project filming these creatures. But because Biscardi was there they feared he would taint all the work this man did over the years. So they were never released till now. No one in saying anything other then alleged bigfoot. But they hope cooler heads will prevail and serious people will look before they shoot their mouth off.

  6. First of all, these "tech-savvy" people set up a camera system using VHS on extended play as a recording media??? Are you kidding me?

Then this "M.K." person makes his videos not using direct digital editing and screen captures to preserve what little detail there is, but sets up another camera to record them which further decreases the already poor resolution of the images, which is also often shown out-of-focus due to the camera's difficulty in focusing on the computer screen.

    Give me a break.

    1. Actually, VHS is a good medium for capturing long takes. HD Digital obviously would be better but for 6 hours at a time, resolution would need to be very low for practical storage solutions.

Agreed about the screencasting. I asked for it above. However, this may be a copyright issue. If indeed the video is confirmed to be valid, then there's no reason why he shouldn't profit from it.

  7. First thing, lets ease up with the critical comments and name calling. Just because your behind a computer screen doesn't mean you can be disrespectful. Now, on to the video, Amazing capture! What else could it be...8ft is conservative. I'm thinking @ least 9 1/2 ft and 750lbs. Yes gargantuan is appropriate. Thanks MK

  8. Honestly, I do know that Bigfoot exists--seen one. Don't need proof.

But, if you want to know if these tapes are legit, you'd have to sit back and wait for more of this project described above to be shared. One thing MK can't hoax is a evidence over time without having big glitches in the storytelling. If MK releases more from these VHS tapes, we can over time see patterns, look for holes in the story and perhaps be absolutely floored that it rings true.

There's lots of blobsquatches out there, but if these tapes have more evidence, they aren't like those little blips that stand alone. They could show an active "compound" for lack of a better term. Now, that possibility has me watching for more and waiting before judging since we won't judge him on just one sample. I'm intrigued after months of weary blobsquatching.

BTW, thanks Guy. I appreciate the way you present posts and the way you go about providing info in a clear and open way. It's really refreshing. I'd apologize for the trolls, but they go with the territory. They live under bridges and try to scare the travelers on the road to knowledge. If you ignore them, perhaps a good spring rain will wash them away and their stench.

  10. I was really excited when I first saw this video, but honestly now it looks like a guy on a bicycle.. Look at the movement, and this would explain the odd "walking" angle.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Anon 4:06 hit the nail on the head. This is simply a guy on a bicycle. There is no doubt about it. You can see what appears to be a dark-colored backpack on him as well. The object doesn't walk, it glides along like it is on wheels, which it certainly is. Watch the first video at 3:50.

Either the powers of suggestion are at work here or there is something deliberately misleading going on.

Just waiting for the 'Bigfoots have been known to steal bikes' response.

    1. And everyone should remember that M.K. Davis is the gentleman who, after staring at the Patterson Gimlin film for too long came up with the "Massacre Theory", hardly someone who should be trusted to judge film or video evidence in my opinion.....

  12. I think he protest to much !!!!!!! Just put it out there and shut-up and let those who see it decide. Also, MODERN TECHNOLOGY with videos exist we know that for SURE !!!! Lose the camera and learn the programs to assist you.

  13. Possible scenario... Jimmy, get on your bike and go tell Grandpa dinner is ready. Through the woods on the well worn path. Grandpa, dinner is ready. OK, Jimmy, tell Grandma, I will be there as soon as I park the tractor.

  14. Is the whitesquatch video definitely attributable to Sells as the anon poster suggests? I've been unable to find links to anything but how dubious Sells was in connection with Biscardi. But that doesn't mean the videos are made by the same person, clearly! Still, if anyone has info, I'd love to know. It would seem to "end" the debate if MK Davis has been merely unwittingly given a series of hoaxes tapes without his knowledge, per se. Just my thoughts.

Bahahahaha!! yeah let it be known that the people who set up that cam 50 feet off a bike path, its clear to any smart person that its a guy on a bike, i swear just cause you set up a cam in the forest and pick something out of the ordinary everyone has to jump and say its bigfoot, theres an explanation for everything.. im sick of all the videos, and pics for f**k sake its 2012 someone get a body and for all you pussies who are no kill well to bad cause the only way people arent gonna call you a fraud or hoaxer is by getting a body, so until that day comes STFU!!!

  16. If you listen to the videotapes of the 2008 Ohio Conference you will see that MK Davis NEVER used the word "Massacre."

The term "Massacre" was the perception of Henry May whose dislike for certain people is well known; he gets on his web cam and pontificates ad nauseum about his dislikes. But on this....the coining of the term Massacre was not out of the mouth of MK Davis but Henry May and others !!!!

The 2008 Ohio BF conference tapes are readily available - $20.00 I paid for mine from Don Keating.

Listen to the 5 hours and see for yourself. In fairness, I do not believe you've done that. Like so many, it's easier to malign and discredit a man based on hearsay or the rantings of biased individuals who think nothing of trashing the reputation of highly talented individuals.

Do your homework before you mouth off.

    1. YES HE DID SAY "MASSACRE." I SPOKE WITH ONE WHO WAS ACTUALLY IN THE ROOM IN THE SMALL GROUP MEETING POST-CONFERENCE WHERE THE THEORY GOT ITS START. HE CONFIRMED THAT MK DID INDEED USE THAT WORD.

JC was there, B. Short, and you were not.

The Massacre Theory was "unveiled" after the conference, and is therefore not in the "official" recording of the proceedings.

There you go, Bobbie is wrong AGAIN.

  17. You guys need to call M.K. back and get his comments on this being just a person riding on a mountain bike. I'm sure he has read all of the comments by now. Ask him to provide a photo of these 50 six-hour tapes that he's been studying because the whole story sounds phony. What time of year were these two particular videos shot and what geographic region of the US? Were they captured on the same day, if not, how many days apart?

He states that the more eyes looking at this - the better, so ask him why he can't simply upload a direct digital copy of the the short clip to retain the most amount of detail instead of his second-generation approach?
