As promised, Robert Lindsay produced two illustrations based on a hot topic that has been percolating among bigfooters lately. It is the story of the Sierra kills.
According to Justin Smeja the story goes:
"In October of 2010 I was bear hunting near Gold Lake CA. Me and my buddy drove into a clearing shielded by trees, so it was much like a blind corner for any game that would be feeding in the meadow, and we saw a strange looking creature. I shot it and 2 others juveniles came out of the thicket. They all ran off and we went after them on foot and eventually I shot another one. We hid the small one and i couldn't find the other."
Robert Lindsay indicated to us these illustrations are rough drafts for a book by Mike Greene and Justin Smeja that has yet to be published The illustrator is unknown at this time.

Am I losing my mind? I thought that scum bag killed a female Sasquatch? I thought that was the whole reason that there were two young ones hanging about. I guess I missed something.

DeleteMy goodness. People over on that site are saying Meldrum is wishing to have Ketchums' fame rub off on him. Now I have seen it all. I swear, these are the same people who send Biscardi money and tell everyone "You just wait till Ketchum proves it all!". That's a lot of faith in one person who keeps flaking out the further this train wreck get's dragged out.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe a word Smeja says. He has given two versions of how he shot the creature. One saying he shot it in the front and the other in the back. Not very consistent. These drawings are of no value whatsoever because he cannot prove he ever shot bigfoot.
ReplyDeleteSmeja is fraud just like the organization he runs with, he said he shot the adult in the front and the bullet exited the side of the body, he also said the children had more protruding faces like dogs so that pic of the child is incorrect, just like smeja is incorrect, sad to see someone has to lie just to get attention,

Man you summed it up in the first 3 words of your post..Drama. I don't blame main stream science for keeping their distance from anything Sasquatch related. Let's see here....between rumors that one of the head guys, at what is arguably the most famous Sasquatch organizations around, is an evidence falsifying drug addict. Then there is the in fighting between rival Bigfoot clubs (what is this the Bloods and the Crips?). Lets not forget people who should know better, still associating with a guy who was supposed to be an expert, who couldn't tell a road kill stuffed suit from a real flesh and blood creature....yeah, Id say there is a lot of drama playing out around here.
DeleteI just know that some people have gotten away from what is important, they have forgotten why they go out to that remote spot in the woods alone, sleep on the ground in crappy tents. There's always the chance of getting hurt or killed by everything from falling off a cliff, bears, snakes, to a pissed off 400 lb angry Sasquatch.
I guess it is just the romantic in me, and I suppose that in order for 3 Sasquatch lovers to be in the same room and agree on anything, 2 of them would have to die in their sleep. I do hope for better days soon.

ReplyDeleteThe shooter appears very credible even in a much relaxed interview environment by a non professional inveriewer however the mention by the trigger man an admitted professional hunter since his beginnings...stated that he never once discussed/thought of BIGFOOT!! How can that be? The brain processes rapidly, if not a bear, human then ..HELLO!! Next thing, there is no way this shooter and his travel mate could have flung this small corpse to the side and traveled away. Just does not pass the sanity ck whatsoever...worried of shooting a person at this point is ridiculous, no way!! This is an elusive mysterious creature and any jury would pardon.

EVERYONE; PLASE LISTEN.... This guy really shot them just like He said. Now, where the lying is coming from is; He is either getiing paid alot of money now or The Men In Black are telling him to chance his story around and loose credibility... This guy took a lie detector and he passed ith almost "zero" symtoms of telling a lie, that is almost immpossible! He changed his story because He either has the corpse or The Governmant has the corpse!

DeleteIt's not uncommon for a bigfoot to get shot. Every year approx: 100 bigfoots are non-lethally shot, out of those apprx: 25 are killed; "EVER SEEN A BIGFOOT CORPSE"? NO! WHERE ARE THEY???? DUH.... I know at least 30 ppl who including myself are avid hunters, non of us are millionaires. If someone offered one of us 1 MILLION DOLLARS FOR A BIGFOOT CORPSE AND TO SHUT THE @#$% UP ABOUT ABOUT; WHAT DO YOU THINK E WOULD DO??
