Animal Planet: "Finding Bigfoot" Season Three will be BIGGER!

(left to right: Cliff Barackman, Renae Holland, James "Bobo" Fay, Matt Moneymaker)
(Beverly Hills, Ca.) This November, FINDING BIGFOOT, one of Animal Planet’s top-performing series ever, delivering more than 1.3M P2+ viewers in its second season, returns with 11 all-new episodes and two specials that take the team of investigators farther across the globe and further into sasquatch history than they’ve ever travelled.  For the first time, the intrepid cast of investigators -- Bigfoot Field Research Organization (BFRO) president Matt Moneymaker, researchers James “Bobo” Fay and Cliff Barackman, and skeptical scientist Ranae Holland – will expand their search in North America and beyond to investigate the sasquatch phenomenon known as “yowies” in Australia and the “orang-pendek” of Indonesia.  Also for the first time, Animal Planet will produce two “aftershow” specials, where the cast will answer burning questions from fans, dive deeper into the evidence and theories, and give behind-the-scene stories and insight.

Legends of bigfoot-type primates persist in cultures all over the globe.  So the bigfoot team will attempt to capture proof of these elusive Australian and Indonesian creatures by immersing itself in local yowie and orang-pendek culture and lore and using that information in the investigations. With the knowledge of the locals and its own experiences researching sasquatches, the team is hot on the trail to locate these distant cousins of the North American bigfoot in the remote terrain and jungles of these far-off lands.

Sasquatch sightings have been reported in every state of the union except Hawaii.  So this season, the team continues to leave no stone unturned and no piece of credible evidence unexplored as it travels to new locations to investigate compelling new finds in multiple states:  Arizona, California, Colorado, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Oklahoma, Texas and Washington.

In addition to their global jaunts, the team members participate in two all-new aftershow specials.  Moderated by Animal Planet executive producer Keith Hoffman, the specials bring the team together in an informal setting to discuss the investigations in greater detail and provide insights and tips not shared in the show.  Who doesn’t want to know how the team films at night without scaring away potential bigfoots or what the cast thinks will happen when bigfoot is found?

With no filters and unparalleled access to the cast, fans of the show and bigfoot enthusiasts everywhere will have unprecedented insight into their investigations that have become a part of the pop cultural zeitgeist.

FINDING BIGFOOT is produced for Animal Planet by Ping Pong Productions. Keith Hoffman is the executive producer for Animal Planet. Brad Kuhlman and Casey Brumels are the executive producers and Chad Hammel is the co-executive producer for Ping Pong Productions.

    1. I hear you, but I've been out there and seen the tracks where none should be. I need to keep and open mind, and who knows, maybe one of them will be eating by a new kind of bear with strange tracks or something. :)

  3. as if they would announce the upcoming season will be devoid of substance like the previous seasons. where's the beef?

  4. I hate this show. I remember Ranae showing a healthy level of skepticism and the other three morons looked at her like she'd ruined their party. Ridiculous.

  5. Please bring back "Monsterquest"

  6. Take Moneymaker out of the equation, that fool is ruining the show.

  7. Bring back monster Quest indeed. The fact that this show is so successful is proof that bigfoot enthusiast are hungry for any thing to watch no matter how ridiculous. I used to think of the BFRO as a creditable source. not anymore. Moneymaker and company STOP making us look ridiculous. Every one already thinks were crazy. your not helping.

  8. I hung with the crew for a week. it was really cool seeing how everything goes . The "skeptic" might not be as skeptical after a couple of experiences. Scientific proof may play a part in this season. And for the ones that I've seen that would like witnesses to be lie detected.... I offered..... Didn't happen. I don't know why. And for others that say... Where's the beef???? I've fished in a lake with a million fish and not caught one. :-)

  9. I will watch the show this year. I have read about Cliff and watched some of his interviews and find him "sane." I like the chemistry of the gang, and think it is a good balance. From what I have heard, AP did not let the gang do what they wanted to do and that's why it seemed like questions did not get answered.I hope this season they (the gang)will have more control of what gets shown. What I don't like are the You Tube fools who make there stupid third grade videos of a "caught on tape" Sasquatch sighting. I really liked the video of the dash camera in the police car getting a Sasquatch crossing the road, and the interviews that followed. What I don't like are the You Tube fools who make there stupid third grade videos of a "caught on tape" Sasquatch sighting. Glad that Matt and the gang are not shy in saying "looks like a fake" Well that's my two cents, now I'm penny less.

  11. Well, the show was interesting for a while. But I cant seem to understand, if they are hearing evidence why dont they continue there. Put cameras like monster quest. Maybe leave a bigfoot dummy with call blaster. Maybe it will be caught on camera, if there are such things. I teally think people from the town hall meeting go and do return calls. Amd the crew think its big foot. Thats my opinion.

  12. Oh, I enjoy the crew. Maybe they should also look for the chupacabra. There has been sightings here. Thats deep down south texas. My daughter saw something weird while coming back from work one night. Said it had a body like a greyhound and like kangaroo, no hair. And it ran real fast. Who knows what else is out there.

  14. Joaquin, Today Now

Can't wait for the new season. Any real Bigfoot enthusiast doesnt expect any world changing discoveries. But it's sure entertaining and educational for the ordinary Squatcher. You got the villians, the loveable oaf, the everyday man, and the mystery. Haters keep hating and Squatchers keep Squatching.

  17. I take the show for what it's worth. entertainment. I am envious of the team though, getting to travel and see our awesome country, meeting interesting people and screaming as loud as they can in the dead of the night. Bobo needs to get that tooth fixed. It makes him look like a hick.

  18. Agreed!! Please Bobo fix your tooth!! You're a tv celebrity and I know that you have to be making some money unless you're paying child support for like 10 kids.

  22. Go back to that swamp marsh along the Northeastern US boarder. That little island with the bones was wild. Especially when you heard multiple squashes on the other side of the sticker bushes and poison ivy. That place sounded like Squash grand central and you were out in the middle of no mans land; no one could have staged that, you got there by jeep through marshes.

  24. Finding Bigfoot should go international to places like Napal, Bhutan and Russia's Siberia. Destination Truth has had insane amounts of evidence.

  25. I once saw a Squatch on some sort of hovercraft. He had a belt strapped around his shoulder and was carrying some type of laser pistol. My former friends mocked me and said I must have been stoned and watching Star Wars but that's ridiculous. Everyone knows that Wookies don't live in this galaxy and don't like to travel here because they have a hard time with the effects of cryo-stasis. Anyway, I knew you guys would understand. We Squatchers need to stick together!

    1. Your absolutely right. Another supporting piece of your argument: Star Wars happened "A long time ago..." Who knows what Wookies look like now a days?

  27. My grandchildren love the show Finding Big Foot.
If you don't like the show don't watch it's plain and simple but quit crying about it. I love the show it takes you to different parts of the country -you learn about the life styles of different people. It's not about the goal it's about the adventure. And how many adventures are left in the world not many. Love the hosts and BoBo I don't mind the tooth missing at all it would be terrible if we were all judgemental and perfect. Nice to see life isn't alway perfect on TV makes it more human. Let's go on another adventure bring them back! Can't wait
    We love Monster Quest too!
