Sasquatch Use of Symbols- Do Bigfoot Create Glyphs to Communicate Information?

David Claerr has written another piece at his Yahoo! Voices page. The subject is what is commonly called stick formations, but David also considers stones and skeletal remains. Below is a short excerpt:

In the course of investigating the wilderness-dwelling hominins in North America variously known as Sasquatch, Bigfoot, and Skunk Ape, there have been increasing reports by numerous researchers of structures and arrangements made of tree branches, stones, and even skeletal remains that appear to be markers or symbols that may communicate a message or information.
Examples of some of these arrangements are those in the form of poles placed together in a tipi-like cone, a series of stones stacked in a column, saplings twisted; bent at right angles and pointing in a specific direction, or bones arranged in geometric patterns. In my own research I have seen such structures that are likely examples of all of the above, although many of them could be alternatively attributed to human activity. In several cases, such as four-to-five inch diameter samplings twisted and bent in an action requiring tremendous torque and force, a human agency performing this act in remote wilderness regions is very unlikely.
In a recent foray, (Feb. 2012), I found some small but very interesting and atypical structures that have some intriguing and puzzling features that I think may be significant, if corroborated by further examples found during future research.

Whether it is stars aligning just right or coincidence, we can agree on serendipity. When Melissa Hovey's picture of the back of a Sasquatch came out, David Claerr was already working on an article about the anatomy of the upper torso of Sasquatch.

David has written multiple articles, each one with rich 3d illustrations. Yesterday he released one that is related to the Melissa Hovey photo that has made the internet rounds (see below).

As you may know at Bigfoot Lunch Club posted a few opinions from Special FX experts. The first one was from Bill Munns, creator of the life-sized Giganto Pithicus, and the other opinion was from Lee Romaire, who created the Bigfoot costume for Letters from the Big Guy. The recent release of a photo purported to be that of the back and torso of a Bigfoot or Sasquatch has many intriguing elements that correlate to the findings of my current research and interpretation of the Sasquatch musculoskeletal system. Although there is a possibility that the photo is the product of an artfully crafted hoax, there are number of characteristics in the appearance of the figure that oddly and coincidentally resemble the latest series of anatomical illustrations I was working on when the photo was released.
A mature Sasquatch or Bigfoot has a skeletal structure that is similar in most respects to that of a human, differing mainly in the overall size and in the proportional relationships. The torso of a Bigfoot is typically much larger and massive than that of a human, with a barrel chest, and broad, high-set shoulders.
The main muscles in the upper back, the trapezius pair, attach to the spine, shoulder blades, and and to the base of the skull, as depicted in the accompanying illustrations. As this article is being written, there are some significant scientific efforts that are expected to be published in the near future, particularly in the field of DNA sequencing, that will provide exceptional evidence to help verify the existence of Sasquatch, or Bigfoot as a living species of hominid. Preliminary reports suggest that they may be more closely related to humans than any of the other "great apes" or higher primates, such as chimpanzees, bonobos, gorillas or orangutans, perhaps even related to or within the direct lineage that resulted in modern humans.

The purpose of this essay is to lay a groundwork for analysis of the structural anatomy, based on current evidence both from still and video imagery as well as what may be the actual physical, skeletal remains that have been exhumed in a few rare instances. (The important images accompanying this article can be enlarged by selecting them by the numbers and then clicking directly on the image.) In the course of both my independent and collaborative research of the Sasquatch, or Bigfoot, I have had the very good fortune to have access to collected evidence that is not available to the general public, and that in some cases, is either copyright protected or, by request, kept confidential pending further verification. I have been able to perform analysis and biometric measurements of cast prints of hands and feet as well as photometric measurements of skeletal remains of images from still and video footage. In addition, in my travels, I have been able to view physical hominin skeletal remains of indeterminate origin that are in excess of 8 feet tall.
