Award Winning Director, Christopher Munch, Premiers "Letters from the Big Man" at Sundance

Okay fans, this is truly breaking news. A new Sasquatch movie is set to premier at the Sundance Film Festival 2011. Titled, Letters from The Big Man, this movie promises to be the first true-to-life portrait of Sasquatch. Currently we have only received a promotional poster, but we have been in contact with the director and plan to follow up with a trailer as we get closer to the world premier on January 20th.

We can't express how excited we are to see this movie. It has the potential to redefine how popular culture thinks of Bigfoot.

Below, are synopsis of the movie from around the web.

Internet Movie Database
Sarah Smith, an artist and government hydrologist, sets out on a post-fire stream survey in a remote part of the Kalmiopsis Wilderness of southwestern Oregon. In the course of her journey through this ancient and ecologically diverse land, she unwittingly finds herself interacting with a sasquatch man, and a mutual curiosity ensues. As their friendship deepens, Sarah must take bold steps to protect his privacy, as well as her own.

  1. Okay, I'm excited. I cannot tell you how desperately I've sat through SyFy renditions of BF movies hoping for someone to get it right. I even daydreamed about M. Knight doing a movie on it and postulating whether BF was human or animal and the dilemma we face in figuring that out before it's too late for him. Hey, I heard there was a documentary coming ut of Canada some time with supposedly outrageous evidence but it's taking its merry time making it to the screen. Have you heard anything about that? So long as Biscardi isn't involved, it might be worth a watch.

  2. Chris Munch shows absolute genius and amazing guts in his depiction of Sasquatch in his film Letters From the Big Man. He portrays the human qualities and metaphysical abilities of Sasquatch with laser sharp precision and accuracy without forcing the audience to decide either way. The majority of the audience may not be aware that his depictions are true to what has been actually reported. Yet he somehow knows precisely where to draw the line carefully so as to not go too far in revealing too much about the reality that is the Sasquatch people. I can't wait to see the next film. Chris is on the right track.
