illustration of MUFON report
A recent report on MUFON describes a 7 ft tall monkey like creature.
They should have their hands full with UFOs and aliens, but they had to dip into the Bigfooting pool. This report has all the signatures of a regular Sasquatch sighting except for a translucent glow. We assume the translucent glow is where Ufologist and Bigfooters meet. We have made an nice Venn diagram to explain all of this. You can see how the two topics overlap. See Figure 1.

I was driving down a residential street in the dark when suddenly, my headlights landed on a ~7 ft. tall man like creature. It almost looked like a very tall standing monkey, but it also resembled a man. It looked as if it had fur all over it's body that was a medium red color. What really looked odd to me was that it seemed to have a translucent aura around it. I had to focus very hard to see these details because it seemed like the creature was moving at a pace of nearly 50 mph. I was afraid, of course, but I didn't feel as if it were here to harm me or anyone else. It seemed scared more than anything else. I feel it was trying to hide or find a way home because it was running right toward a large wooded area. I lost sight of the object within 2-4 seconds of first seeing it because it was moving so fast. - MUFON CMS
Hmm... That's a new one on me. I'd say maybe it was back-lit by a car oncoming? Lots of stuff in Kentucky and WV. My niece and her husband in WV just saw a Bigfoot driving along a mountain road and it's eyes glowed in the headlights. I've been to a mountain preserve in WV and hope to go back this summer. I had an encounter I really believe was BF. The preserve allowed no shooting and it was filled with deer and wild turkeys galore. It was also a very remote and empty place made up of tons and tons of caves. It's probably his dream habitat. I don't think he glows, though. Hee hee
ReplyDeleteAutumnForest, that Mountain preserve sounds perfect! Deer and wild turkeys? Sounds like the perfect buffet for a Bigfoot! Oh and Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI hate it when my meds kick in like that while I'm driving!
ReplyDeleteI suppose an uninsulated, large warm-blooded creature could produce some interesting steam effects under the right weather/lighting conditions. But, so can a steaming pile of BF scat.
Some will complain when other people don't take bigfoot seriously and try to explain it away, then will do the same to other reporters of something unusual. No wonder we have no answers in this mystery.
