Who is Dr Anna Nekaris? She describes herself as:
...a member of the IUCN Primates Specialist Group, Conservation Working Party of the Primate Society of Great Britain, and on the editorial board of Endangered Species Research and Folia Primatologica. I have been studying the behaviour, ecology, conservation and taxonomy of Asian mammals since 1994, although my research has also taken me to Kenya, Uganda, Senegal, Costa Rica, and Trinidad. My primary interests lie with Asia’s slow and slender lorises.

I travel to remote areas of the Cascade mountains of Washington state. There are many unreported incidents and encounters with an unknown here by locals and native americans. I have been "stalked" by something very large, rocks thrown into a nearby stream,tracks along streams, etc. I just take it as maybe something these people have seen?? Maybe someone playing "pranks"?? Therefore soon I am travelling to a high, remote location that no one goes and the native americans tell me not to go as there is a tribe of these "unknowns" living there. Several people have been chased out of there by several 8-9 ft "unknowns". I am former military and a former state police investigator. I have been asked to check this place out by locals. However I have asked several to go with me as a witness but I have had no takers yet. I leave October 1 at 0500. Any takers out there??
I'm in. I'm a former Marine and Train hunting dogs now. However, I'm used to Texas heat, not mountains in the fall. Sounds like a great adventure.

ReplyDeletei love these Bigfoot Documentries, but i have to say that i think it's all a hoax. I like the stories and the reenactments of the early sitings from the 1800's to the 1960's. Now with the way people get around it's hard to say what's real and fake. There are never any Bigfoot droppings or just eaten food or berries around. And nobody can't hold a camera still for 2 seconds when they see one.

ReplyDeleteWould think that we would have proof by now if there were really Bigfoot out there. Probably a better chance that a very small legacy population of small hominid somewhere. Orang Pendek maybe. I have been to very remote areas from Ontario Canada to National Parks in Thailand and haven't seen any yeti.

ReplyDeleteSo I been watching the news reports about the Mars project Curiosity and wondered why we never thought of unmanned reseach vehicles for heavy forested mountainous terrain. We have drone planes, robot submarines, why cant we design something for rugged forest. Longlife tough exterior weather proof and build for year long journeys from points a to b and gather data. Why dont we have a competition. I know there are hundreds of robots already built to explore different terrain. Lets see whats really out there.
Because of heavy forested mountainous terrain. It's just to risky for something to navigate thick under brush etc. Mars has no trees, the moon has no trees.
