Oh you can also read their mission reprinted below:
Olympia Beer and Bigfoot have been leaving footprints together in the Pacific Northwest since 1896.
We have been sharing the same backyard for over a century and we believe it’s time to do what has never been done, and that is to offer a one million dollar reward to anyone who can ensure the safe capture of Bigfoot. When we say safe capture that means Bigfoot has to be alive and breathing folks, with no wounds. That’s right you can’t use any act of violence, no guns/knives/boxing gloves/nets/etc, only sugar or sweets to lure him in.
You must register to participate in the search. To report your discovery of irrefutable evidence of the existence of Bigfoot, click on the "Submit Capture Report" link on the left and follow the instructions to report your evidence. You participation in the search is subject to the complete Official Rules.
To aid us in this adventure, Olympia Beer is partnering with The Falcon Project
The Falcon Project has been identified as “the most penetrative search for Bigfoot ever conducted in the United States.” They will conduct an aerial search for Sasquatch employing an unmanned airship with high definition thermal imaging camera equipment.
I know I need to keep it clean here but just wondering what would happen if you gave a lady squatch an Oly label with four dots on it. That is; if you can find one. ---- I mean the label, not the squatch.
ReplyDeleteI agree this is better than murder. This is ambitious. I have thought about this since you posted it, had nightmares actually. Maybe I am misunderstanding the nature of sasquatch kind. Taking one out of its environment may break up a family where the young are dependent. There are witness accounts that they are not alone and will defend each other. So let's say you coax an adult away into a U-haul, lock it in and survive all the rocks thrown at you from his family. Then what happens to it? Is it stuck in there for days until a structure is built that will hopefully contain it? It will be very stressful on the animal and someone could get hurt or worse trying to pull this off. I think about the claim that those bear hunters shot the adult and then were afraid one of the juveniles would attack and killed one of them as well and I am horrified. You would have to set up your sweets trap directly inside a strong vehicle like a Uhaul and wait until the entire family climbed in just to avoid such a confrontation. Sasquatch legends of them stealing women and children in reverse, how will they respond to humans after that goes down?
ReplyDeleteThe reward is an annuity of $25,000 for forty years. I'm thinking if you had blockbuster evidence this would be laughable.
