You can learn more about the The Oregon Bigfoot Highway at the Official Oregon Bigfoot Highway Website. Below is a teaser about the book.

THE OREGON BIGFOOT HIGHWAY
This book is a collection of Bigfoot sightings, Bigfoot related incidents and … happenings in the wild area of the upper Clackamas and Breitenbush River drainages. In it we explore seemingly genuine accounts relating to Bigfoot along the main road between Estacada and Detroit, and side roads that venture into secret haunts of the Clackamas Ranger District of the Mount Hood National Forest

These accounts span over one hundred years and were reported by persons of diverse professions from lawyers to loggers. The quantity and similarity of these reports caused us to conclude that this is, indeed, The Oregon Bigfoot Highway.

  1. Multiply Joe's population estimate along the Bigfoot highway, by picking a number between 10 and 100. The reason being is that he used F&B sightings over an assumed area. Although the populations are thinner in the Cascades than in the Coast Range, 1 per 10 square miles would be much closer than Joe's number. That density would be based on a precision call blasting technique that counts the numbers within hearing distance, as they make a responding noise of some type.
