Officially Saks Fifth Avenue denies any knowledge of a snowflake making Yeti living on it's roof. The video below shows otherwise.

Bigfoot Researchers Declare 2013 "The Year of the Bigfoot"Bigfoot researchers have noticed an increase in the quantity and quality of Bigfoot videos submitted to Facebook.com/FindBigfoot (FBFB). It's only a matter of time before this species is discovered. FBFB declares 2013 "The Year of the Bigfoot."

We want to celebrate 2013 as ‘The Year of Bigfoot’ to remind people that each video submitted helps our community to learn more about these amazing creatures.
Minneapolis, Minnesota (PRWEB) November 16, 2012

Chinese New Year will celebrate 2013 as the “Year of the Snake” while Facebook/FindBigfoot (FBFB), the social network with 30,000+ Bigfoot enthusiasts, declares 2013 “The Year of Bigfoot.”

The number of Bigfoot sightings in the second half of 2012 has created quite a buzz among FBFB Fans, including a new Bigfoot video that entered the FBFB’s "Top 50 Bigfoot Videos" list at #2 behind the famous Patterson/Gimlin footage.

“The Camper” video was recorded in September 2012 using a mobile phone and shows a Bigfoot near a tree eating food from the campsite. “What’s so amazing about this new video is how close the Bigfoot is to the camper’s tent,” said Jack Barnes, Chief Video Analyst for FBFB. “A Bigfoot usually maintains maximum distance from humans, but this one couldn’t have been more than 25 feet away.”

The team at FBFB is encouraged by the number of new videos submitted to their social network. They’re confident that somebody will eventually capture indisputable proof of a Bigfoot on video. “With all the mobile phones and video out there, we’ve seen a spike in the quantity and quality of Bigfoot submissions,” Barnes said. “We want to celebrate 2013 as ‘The Year of Bigfoot’ to remind people that each video submitted helps our community to learn more about these amazing creatures.” Soon FBFB will announce its nominees for "Bigfoot Researcher of the Year".

The FBFB community is a free social network for Bigfoot researchers and enthusiasts. The “Top 50 Bigfoot Videos” list is available for free viewing. Bigfoot enthusiast can also download FBFB’s book, "You Are Sasquatch" from Amazon.com.

Mt. Hood Bigfoot Event Friday 16th and Saturday 17th

Friday, November 16th, 7:30 PM
Wy'east Event Series at The Resort at the Mountain presents
Molly Gloss and Robert Michael Pyle
WILD NIGHTS: A Wilderness Big Enough for BIGFOOT

Robert Michael Pyle, noted scientist and nature writer, spent a year in the Dark Divide of Washington State to research the possible existence of Sasquatch and recorded his journey in "Where Bigfoot Walks: The Dark Divide."
Molly Gloss, honored Oregon novelist, wrote passionately about the rugged and remote NW wilderness and speculated about the world of Bigfoot in remote Northwest forests in her imaginative novel "Wild Life."

Whether as a flesh-and-blood creature or as a shadow of our own fears and desires, Bigfoot walks in the Pacific Northwest. What is this alter ego, this legend, this animal? From both a biologist's and a writer's standpoints, Bob will bring Bigfoot alive for you. After setting the scene with visuals from the dramatic and mysterious land of the Dark Divide, he will share striking passages from his book and subsequent experiences that have kept Bigfoot alive and well in his own sensibility; and argue for a passionately open mind about that which we do not fully know.
What is the American "idea" of wilderness? How does our individual experience of wilderness shape our land ethic? Is Bigfoot, whether real or not, our ultimate metaphor for wilderness? Molly's talk, centered around her experiences while writing the novel Wild Life, looks not only at the meaning of wilderness and the human response to it, but the ways in which Western literature, having the wilderness experience at its center, explains and defines and acts upon American culture.
Tickets: $15.00 (under 12, $7.50) available for purchase exclusively at Wy'east Book Shoppe & Art Gallery (503-622-1623 or wyeast@wyeastonline.com

Robert Michael Pyle
 Bob Pyle
In the early 1990s, Pyle, a scientist with a Ph.D.
from Yale University, was awarded a Guggenheim fellowship to investigate the legends of Sasquatch, which became the basis of his critically-acclaimed book, Where Bigfoot Walks: Crossing the Dark Divide.
His trek through the wilderness of the Dark Divide uncovered a giant fossil footprint, brought him to Indians who told him of an outcast tribe whose members had not evolved fully into humans; and led him attend the Sasquatch Daze, where he met scientists, hunters, and crackpots who devote their lives to Bigfoot.
While he never saw Bigfoot, Pyle was told by the Army Corps of Engineers that the creature's existence was "not unlikely."

Molly Gloss

Molly Gloss
The multi-award-winning author Molly Gloss is a fourth-generation Oregonian, who was originally discovered by the great Ursula K. Le Guin. Her works have been selected for such honors as the prestigious PEN/Faulkner Award for American Fiction (as a finalist), the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Award and the H. L. Davis Oregon Book Award.
Her novel, Wild Life, set in 1905 in the mountains and woods of Washington State, features an outrageous early-twentieth century, cigar-smoking feminist who becomes lost in the woods while fleeing from a terrifying storm. Starving and desperate, she encounters a group of huge, hairy humanoids - gentle, shy, intelligent creatures who gradually accept her presence. She comes to share their terror of humans and the reason for that terror. Eventually, Charlotte returns home, her outlook profoundly altered.
